Thank you for checking out the guidelines for my book reviews! I love sharing about wonderful books I’ve read. I usually use the following to help me decide to review a book:
- Christian fiction: The book must have a Christian worldview and be clean. No gratuitous sex or cursing.
- Romance: I usually only read romance. That does not mean I won’t read women’s fiction. I do love women’s fiction, especially with a romantic thread. But I do not read children’s, middle grades, or young adult (although there are some exceptions). I also don’t read speculative, science fiction, or fantasy. The romance can be romantic suspense, historical romance, contemporary romance, etc. I also don’t mind a cozy mystery with a romantic subplot.
- Time period: Books can be historical or contemporary. I love both. I also love time-slip and dual-timeline novels.
