I’ll Be Yours for Christmas combines three things I love: romance, Christmas, and hot chocolate.
The premise itself captivated me: a grieving widow meets a man trying to save his foster father’s Christmas tree farm, and sparks fly.
It’s like Hallmark, but in book form. I don’t know if that’s what the author is going for, but it worked for me. (Although, there’s less cheese factor, so if that’s a deal breaker…sorry.)
But the premise isn’t even the best part! Actually, I don’t even know what the best part is. Because first there’s the friendship between Colton and Rocky. Their banter is hilarious and helped me immediately connect with Colton. Then there’s Noelle’s relationship with her dog. Dogs are an easy way to my heart anyway, but Cocoa was my favorite supporting character. No question about it.
I liked that the book dealt with grief, forgiveness, and the foster system. The characters’ problems were easy to understand and empathize with, and they made me think.
I love it when a book makes me think.
Now, I’ll Be Yours for Christmas doesn’t go deep into spiritual aspects, which may be a deal-breaker for some but a plus for others who don’t like preachy books. I think Weller did a great job of touching them enough that the spiritual undertones are present without being heavy-handed.
There were some aspects I wish the book spent more time on, but I think that’s to Weller’s credit. She made me care about these characters and the Christmas tree farm so much that I didn’t want to leave them.
And the mystery vandal? Didn’t see that coming. Weller managed to take me completely by surprise.
Overall, I’ll Be Yours for Christmas is a cute, funny, charming, and heartwarming novel that’s perfect for cozying up next to a fire or for your Christmas in July celebration. Honestly, it’s perfect for any time of year.

I cannot thank you enough Jennifer, I absolutely loved this review. I would love to hear more about what you wish I’d have spent more time on because I am currently writing Rocky’s HEA story.
I’m so glad I got a chance to read it! There were a few scenes where you alluded to Noelle and Colton doing something “off-screen” (such as when she showed him the area where she’d seen boxes hidden under a tarp) that I wanted to see because I couldn’t get enough of them on the page. Lol. They’re such a cute couple and I loved them. But I’m so excited you’re doing Rocky’s story! I hope we find out what caught his attention, because Noelle had mentioned Charlotte’s eyes were following him and Noelle hoped he’d notice her. Then they started talking, and I’m excited to see what caused that change. I can’t wait to see their relationship unfold on the page!
